25 points from Boris Matrakov, 16 from Austrian Adam Hammerschmidt and Captain Keith Bunyan and Zigy Dauksas sharing 24, were the big numbers for Fury in their 22pt home win over local rivals Stirling Knights. Fury started off in excellent form with a 26-8 opening quarter with Hammerschmidt on 13 and Matrakov on 9. A high scoring second period saw Fury increase their lead to 59 – 32 at the half.
However with Fury looking at different combinations on the floor , the Knights to their credit took the third and at one stage pulled the match back to 15 in the final period, before the Sony sponsored side pulled clear for a comfortable win.
With now 2 wins from 3 starts, Fury will need to up their game for next weeks road trip to fellow title challengers Dunfermline Reign.
