Glasgow Rocks completed the BBL Cup Quarter-Finals line-up after defeating Leeds Force 84-65 at the Emirates Arena, in the final First Round clash on Sunday.

Sterling Davis’ side only trailed once throughout as they produced a strong finish to make sure of the win in the final quarter.

After edging ahead at the end of the first, the home side pulled clear in the second with an 11-0 run helping Rocks lead by as many as 17 in the period.

Leeds began to fight back in the second half and closed within single figures at 67-59 with six minutes to go, but Glasgow repelled their opponents’ charge with a 12-2 response to secure victory.

The visitors fell to their second defeat of the weekend despite a 23-point haul from D’Andre Bullard. Force captain Armand Anebo had 10 points and 13 rebounds as the only other player in double figures.

The Rocks progress to set up a last eight showdown with Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.
