BBL Trophy, Quarter-Final
Worcester Wolves 85 (28,54,73) (Losonsky 26, Blackwell 15, Jackman 13)
Glasgow Rocks 66 (21,38,53) (Hall 18, Gillis 16, Ware 15)

Worcester Wolves booked their place in the BBL Trophy Semi-Finals after a convincing 85-66 win at home to Glasgow Rocks in a repeat of the 2014 Final.

The home side produced a clinical first half display to establish a commanding lead on their way to a 19-point victory.

Pavol Losonsky set the tone with a captain’s display as he finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Perris Blackwell and Orlan Jackman weighed in with 15 and 13 points respectively.

Wolves led from start to finish as they opened on a 7-2 run before Jackman netted eight points in quick succession to help grow the lead. Their advantage hit double figures in the second as Worcester compiled a 13-2 run to move points ahead at the half.

There was to be no way back for the Rocks, with Worcester extending their cushion beyond 20 points at the end of the third.

However, Glasgow kept the gap from growing out of control and managed to edge their opponents by taking the final quarter 13-12.

The Rocks were led by Will Hall’s 18 points as their hope of reaching another Final at their home arena ends with four teams left to battle it out for a place in next month’s showpiece at the Emirates Arena.

Worcester will meet defending champions Esh Group Eagles Newcastle, while Sheffield Sharks go up against Leicester Riders.
