Glasgow Rocks recorded a 94-77 victory at home to Surrey Scorchers on Sunday to close on a place in the top four.

Marcus Ware scored half of his 12 points in the early stages and Riley Grabau netted from deep as the Rocks raced into a 14-5 advantage. The home side continued to build momentum and opened up a 12-point gap at the start of the second.

Surrey hit back with a 16-6 spell to close within two points having made their first six attempts from 3-point range. However, Glasgow finished the half with a 9-4 run and carried the momentum into the second half as they quickly doubled their advantage.

The visitors battled to get back within single figures, but were unable to do so, coming as close as 11 before Hall netted back-to-back baskets to help the Rocks edge away once more with their lead peaking at 20 points.

Elvisi Dusha netted four triples in his 15 points, but the Scorchers were unable to make it a double-winning weekend as they drop to 4-6 from their first 10 games.
