7.12.2013: EDINBURGH KINGS - STIRLING KNIGHTS 74:54

Stirling travelled to the Capital to face a strong Edinburgh Kings side. The Knights continued where they had left off the previous week showing a much improved game at both ends of the court to match Kings for the first half, going in at halftime 36-34. A host of missed chances and poor execution at the start of the third allowed Kings to take 15 point lead but Knights battled all the way in an eventual 74-54 loss. Top players for Knights were captain Jack Burgess with 12 points in a fine performance, with big men Gergo Jenei and Matt Dick doing a great job on scoring and rebounds.  Knights chief Pete Duncan "We played extremely well in the first half and just lost our way a bit in the third, although its the closest we've been to Kings in our four season history. We didn't really have an answer for their centre but the guys have shown big improvements over the first half of the season. Many people have commented what a good young team we have, with great potential and we just hope the guys keep working to improve."
